Christian, Don't Blind Yourself:

Rejecting God's Word About Creation

It's very simple. How does God reveal Himself to everyone?

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not [n]honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures." - Romans 1:18-23

God makes Himself known through His creation. This is a basic revelation showing that He exists and revealing a little about His nature. Revelation through creation does not replace scripture. But it is sufficient for everyone to know God is real... so they are without excuse. Since this is the way God universally reveals Himself, what is Satan going to do?

Creation is one of Satan's primary targets, and he has replaced it with evolution. Belief in evolution fills our need to know our origins, and it takes God out of the picture.

Although atheism might have been logically tenable before Darwin, Darwin made it possible to be an intellectually fulfilled atheist" - Richard Dawkins

We're In A Spiritual Battle

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. - Ephesians 6:12

As seen in our videos some of the claims evolutionists make are not that difficult to refute. For example, they claim radiometric dating is accurate, except when it does not give them the dates they want. How can they be so blind to both Biblical and scientific truth?

The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. - 2 Corinthians 4:4

What do we as Christians need to do? First, don't fall for Satan's deception. Trust God's word. Trust Jesus, not Darwin. Reject evolution and trust God's word. You'll find that God's word is true AND, of course, science that actually seeks truth does not contradict God's word. Why? Because science is the search for knowledge about reality, and God is the one who created that reality.

Second, proclaim the gospel and God's truth. This includes refuting evolution, but not without the gospel. I have seen people come to an intellectual understanding of Biblical creation. But, that's not enough. Without the gospel they are still lost.

SORRY,
I NEVER KNEW YOU

Wide and Narrow Roads

Many people, when they die, will stand before Jesus and say:

Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? - Matthew 7:22

And Jesus will say to them:

I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness. - Matthew 7:23

Get your Bible out and read Matthew 7:21-23. These are some of the most frightening verses in the Bible.

They describe people who believe with all their heart that they are saved. They have no doubt that they know Jesus and they've done many great things that prove this is true. Put Jesus says, 'Depart from me...' He doesn't know them.

Are you truly trusting Jesus? Scripture says to examine yourself to see if you are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). Have you done that?

Do you read your Bible regularly? Do you fear false teaching? Are you growing in your obedience to God? Are you growing in your understanding of what God wants? Do you regularly share the good news about Jesus with others?
