Ann Coulter said, "Although God believers don't need evolution to be false, atheists need evolution to be true." Is this a true statement? No. Not even close. If you are a Christian, and you say evolution is true, you are saying the Bible is false and cannot be trusted.
For example, here is a rough comparision of the order things "happened" in evolution and the Biblical order of creation. They are very different. Believing evolution happened means you believe God got the order of creation wrong. If the Bible is wrong about that, can you trust the Bible in other areas?
EVOLUTION: The sun forms before the earth.
THE BIBLE: The earth is created as a ball of water. Then dry land and then plants. AFTER THAT the sun, moon and stars are created.
EVOLUTION: Fish evolve into existence, then plants, next land animals, and finally, after millions and millions of years, birds.
THE BIBLE: Plants are created first. Then both fish and birds are created on the same day. Then land animals and humans are created on the next day.
EVOLUTION: Land animals evolved and then tens of millions of years later birds evolved from dinosaurs.
THE BIBLE: Birds were created the day BEFORE dinosaurs (land animals) were created.
EVOLUTION: Death comes into the world as soon as the first single cell organism spontaneously forms from non-living chemicals.
THE BIBLE: Death does not enter the world until Adam disobeys God.
Based on evolution, death not only comes into the world before sin, but natural selection uses death as the tool to drive evolution. Based on evolution death is good because it eliminates weak mutations and selects improved organisms to reproduce and spread their "improvements." Based on the Bible death is our enemy and will be destroyed.
Based on evolution, since death came into the world before sin, it is not a consequence of sin. So, if evolution is true, why did Jesus die on the cross? .... Silence -- there is no answer. His death accomplished nothing. Death is a normal part of an evolving universe. Death simply gets rid of the unfit and those who are less able to survive. So Jesus died because he was less fit and there was no purpose for the cross. Christianity is a false, empty, religion.
Trust the Bible, exactly and plainly as it was written. God gave us truth that can be understood exactly as it was written. God has protected and preserved that truth. Trust the truth of God in His word.

What you believe does not determine reality nor truth. That would make you god. But you ARE NOT god. You don't control the universe. You cannot change reality. Let's try an experiment. At about midnight stand in the middle of the road just around a corner where it is hard to be seen... at night, wearing all black. When headlights start lighting up the curve, just believe that whatever is coming does not exist. Stand firm, if you don't believe a vehicle is coming, then nothing is coming. You are perfectly safe... until reality hits.
You are now standing before Jesus. You are dead. It's judgment day. You don't want to believe it's Jesus and you will be judged. But it is. That's reality.
Judgment only takes a moment, the verdict is obvious, and you know it is correct. You are guilty. You've lied, stolen and sexually lusted after others (Matthew 5:28)... you have disobeyed God. Trusting Jesus is the only answer, but it's too late. You had your last chance just before you died.
You know it's no use to protest, but still you scream out, 'I didn't know!'
But you did know. All of creation declared God's glory, His invisible attributes, and His power. You have no excuse. You willingly rejected Jesus Christ (God).
Is this you? Are you saying, 'Hell isn't so bad, I'll be with my friends.' You know that's not true. There are no friends in hell. No beer... not even water to cool your lips. There is NOTHING good in hell.
So I beg you, consider these words. Trust Jesus as having paid your penalty for every way you've have rejected God. Trust Jeus to save you from hell and bring you into the presense of God.
